Creativity and Design have been a central part of Rob’s life since his earliest memories.  From nailing together scraps of wood in his Grandfather’s furniture shop, to learning woodworking skills from his Father, Rob fed his interest in creating art throughout his school years, eventually moving into a career as an Architect.

After moving from the Bay Area of Northern California to a 40 acre ranch in the Sierra Foothills in 2011, Rob was excited to have an actual workshop to set up and dive into woodworking projects.  Those plans changed in 2013 when his wife Katie saw an article about a Western engraver and casually mentioned, “You could do that”.  Finding a local mentor got the ball rolling, and gradually the wood shop was converted into an engraving studio and metal fabrication shop.

With horses on the ranch, and horse-related activities filling their spare time, Western style engraving was a natural choice. Using modern tools and techniques to create jewelry and accessories for a wide range of tastes and interests, the engraving hobby grew into a full fledged business.

Creating custom pieces for each order, Rob is able to incorporate ranch brands and other personalized information into unique items of “wearable art”.  Sterling silver, copper, steel and precious stones are blended together and hand engraved to add a special touch to any cowboy or cowgirl’s wardrobe.

One of the most satisfying aspects of his work is that the gifts that are created in his studio end up in all parts of the Country and around the World.  Transformed from an idea into a physical item; each piece is crafted by hand and destined to be a part of someone’s life and a permanent reminder of the love with which the gift was given.
